Our flagship framework - Indigo - has formed the basis of a wide range of web-based applications and web services solutions for our clients. Indigo’s demonstrated benefits include — Speed of Solution Development Application development teams can focus immediately on business logic to solve business problems, without spending weeks or even months on technical architecture issues. Integration of Legacy Applications Existing applications can be integrated with one another and with newer applications, without the need for complex and expensive enterprise application integration (EAI) software implementations. Open Standards Indigo is built around open, lightweight, integration standards including XML, XSLT, SOAP, and WSDL. It is a proven architecture that abstracts an application’s presentation/connectivity layer from its underlying business logic. Inter-Enterprise Integration The ability to integrate outside the firewall smoothly and safely enables more flexible collaboration between business partners and provides opportunities for companies to offer new services or leverage those of others in creating new value propositions. Indigo is designed to run inside a J2EE application server such as WebLogic or Websphere. It augments the application server and provides a programming model with multiple levels of abstraction. The figure below shows how Indigo fits into the typical web application stack — Indigo acts as an interface between the clients attempting to run the application - be they browsers, wireless devices, IVR systems, or programmatic web services - and the core business logic of the application. It enables true connection scalability as adding connections from new devices and/or channel partners becomes decoupled from the mainline application development process.
